PEC extrudes a wide range of thermoplastic
materials in varying hardness's and colours.
There are 3 sections, rigid, flexible
and hoses, each with several lines for different sizes
and materials.

A number of quality checks are made
before goods are released to our customers. Some of
our equipment includes shadowgraph projectors, light
cabinets, impact test equipment, gloss meters and
vernier callipers. We can also colour match rigid
PVC to your requirements.

|
Inline and offline cutting equipment
is available for accurately cutting extrusions to
length. Inline punching is available for flexible
sections to provide drainage. Protective and double-sided
tape can be applied inline to some rigid sections.
Punches can also be designed and produced to achieve
specific requirements, eg cat collars.
Inkjet printing in various colours and fonts is available
for rigid sections and hoses. We can print names,
dates, batch identifications, sizes etc.

On hand advice is available from our
in-house tool room. Our tools include milling machines,
surface grinders, sand blasters, lathes, diprofiles,
hand held grinders and drilling machines.
A majority of our tools are owned
by our customers however we also have our own extensive
range of standard tooling. We have several outside
toolmakers to call on who can cut bespoke dies for
you specific needs.

We use a small amount of subcontractors
for various jobs that we regularly review and grade
accordingly.

We have excellent packaging
facilities, rigid profiles can be packed in polythene
sleeving and large quantities put into stillages, while
we loosely coil flexible sections, or pack into buckets
and boxes, or on to wooden drums which are then palletized.
We also have various methods for suppying hoses depending
on the size and lengths required.
Our own transport covers the majority of deliveries
however we also use outside carriers to cover all of
the UK and Europe.
